From Canvas to Skin
"I work through synesthesia, where sight, sensation, and emotion move together. The same visual principles I once used on canvas—layering, contrast, shifts in color temperature—now shape my approach to scent. Perfumery became a natural extension of my creative path, allowing emotion to leave the surface of an image and exist closer to the body, in a more intimate form."
Jasper Li
Trained as a visual artist and painter, Jasper's curiosity for different dimensions of artistic expression led him beyond the visual, pushing him to self-study perfumery. Fascinated by the depth of olfaction world, he founded TOBBA as a natural evolution of his artistic practice—where scent became his chosen medium.
With a background in luxury retail, Adrian now translates creative vision into a refined, market-facing presence for TOBBA.
